After casting in many different Peruvian cities and Regions the 37 ladies start to competing, just 15 survived the first cut and past to the semi-finals. Following that the girls are narrowed down to six finalist, The runners-up and winner were called from this group, then proceed to crowing and award show.

The Miss Perú 1964 pageant was held on June 27, 1964. The chosen winner represented Peru at the Miss Universe 1964 and Miss International 1964.^[1]
