Mohd Nurul Azwan Roya (born 25 June 1986) is a Malaysian footballer currently plays as a midfielder for Johor Darul Ta'zim II in Malaysia Premier League. He is also known as Awe.

Career

Johor FC

Nurul Azwan Roya was born in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan. He attended a local school and started playing for the Kelantan FA President's Cup Team at the age of 20. Then, he promoted to play for the Johor senior team in 2005.

Kelantan

After long season with Johor FC, he joined Kelantan FA. During the seasons with Kelantan FA, he achieved a lot of success with the team, especially in the 2012 season after helping his team completing the treble by winning the Malaysia Cup 2012. He also represented Kelantan in the 2012 AFC Cup.[1]

Return to Johor FC

After one season with Kelantan FA, Nurul Azwan Roya left Kelantan FA to return to Johor for the 2013 Malaysia Super League. On 2 March 2013, he scored his first goal for the club in a 2–1 defeat of Negeri Sembilan FA. Being key player of 2013's Johor, he manage to have 7 assist and 4 goals.

PDRM FA

After failed to cement his spot at Johor Darul Ta'zim F.C., he signs for PDRM in 2015.Pdrm terminate his contract with Muslim Ahmad after they didn't perform well for Pdrm.

International career

Nurul Azwan Roya was called up to represent national Under-19 team for trials in 2004. However, he has never represented Malaysia national football team until today.
