- Alderson Broaddus, Kentucky Wesleyan College, Malone — football will begin competing in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in 2017.
- Limestone College — has a scheduling alliance with the South Atlantic Conference for the 2015–2018 seasons.[1]
- North Carolina-Pembroke — will have a scheduling alliance with the South Atlantic Conference for the 2017–2020 seasons.[2]
- North Greenville — will become an affiliate member of the Gulf South Conference in 2018.
