Northgate railway station is located on the North Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Brisbane suburb of Northgate. Immediately north of the station, the Shorncliffe line branches off.
History
Northgate station opened in 1882 as Toombul with the opening of the North Coast line. It was later renamed Northgate Junction[1] and then shortened to Northgate.[2]
Services
Northgate is served by all stops Caboolture line services from Caboolture to Brisbane, many continuing to Ipswich, Rosewood and Springfield Central.[3] It is also served by all stops Shorncliife line services from Shorncliffe to Cannon Hill, Manly and Cleveland[4] and by limited stops services to Nambour.[5]
