Nyle Salmans was the 23rd head college football coach for the Ottawa University Braves located in Ottawa, Kansas and he held that position for five seasons, from 1979 until 1983. Prior to taking the job at Ottawa, Salmans was an assistant coach at Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas.[3]
