Frank Leo "Red" Baughman was the fifth head football coach for the Ottawa University Braves located in Ottawa, Kansas and he held that position for the 1911 season. His career coaching record at Ottawa was 1 wins, 3 losses, and 3 ties. This ranks him 26th at Ottawa in total wins and 25th at Ottawa in winning percentage (.143).[1]
A native of Ohio where he was born in 1878,[2] Baughman graduated from the Ottawa University Academy in 1902. He was later a merchant and grocer in the area.[3] He died at a hospital at Ottawa in 1958.[4] He was buried at Hope Cemetery in Ottawa.[5]
