Oakville is an unincorporated community in Monroe Township, Delaware County, Indiana.
Geography
Oakville is located just inside the southern border of Delaware County at 40°04′45″N 85°23′26″W / 40.07917°N 85.39056°W.
History
Oakville was originally called Pleasant Hill, and under the latter name was established in 1873.[3] The Oakville post office opened in 1876.[4]
On April 1, 1884, a (possibly F5/EF5 strength) tornado destroyed much of Oakville.[5]
