Olovyanninsky District (Russian: Оловяннинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the thirty-one in Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia. It is located in the south of the krai. The area of the district is 6,270 square kilometers (2,420 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Olovyannaya.[1] Population: 43,494 (2010 Census);[5] 49,426 (2002 Census);[8] 60,810 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Olovyannaya accounts for 19.3% of the district's total population.[5]

The district was established on January 4, 1926.[1]
