Planetary Instrument for X-Ray Lithochemistry

Planetary Instrument for X-Ray Lithochemistry (PIXL) is an x-ray fluorescence spectrometer to determine the fine scale elemental composition of Martian surface materials designed for the Mars 2020 rover mission.[1][2]
