Pieve a Nievole is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pistoia in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 35 kilometres (22 miles) northwest of Florence and about 11 km (7 mi) southwest of Pistoia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,387 and an area of 12.7 square kilometres (4.9 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Pieve a Nievole contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Via Nova, Poggetto, and La Colonna.
Pieve a Nievole borders the following municipalities: Monsummano Terme, Montecatini-Terme, Ponte Buggianese, Serravalle Pistoiese.
