PoddÄ™bice [pÉ”dËÉ›mˈbʲitÍ¡sÉ›] is a town in Poland, in Åódź Voivodeship, about 40 km northwest of Åódź. It is the capital of PoddÄ™bice County. Population is 7,898 (2004).
Poddębice's most famous current resident is the Extreme Sports Channel IEX Action Sports News show voice-over artist Paulina Pukowska. Actress Malgosia Garnys was born and raised in Poddebice. Italian Vogue called her 'Future young performer'. Australian KURV Magazine named her 'New Audrey Hepburn' and C. Nation called her - The new age love child of Monica Bellucci and Paz Vega'. She currently lives in New York City. [1]
