Port Colden is an unincorporated community and census designated place (CDP) located within Washington Township, in Warren County, New Jersey, United States,[7] that was created as part of the 2010 United States Census.[8][9][10] As of the 2010 Census, the CDP's population was 122.[3]
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 0.197 square miles (0.509 km2), all of which was land.[1][11]
Demographics

At the 2010 United States Census, there were 122 people, 55 households, and 33.99 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 620.4 per square mile (239.5/km2). There were 59 housing units at an average density of 300.0 per square mile (115.8/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.08% (116) White, 0.00% (0) Black or African American, 1.64% (2) Native American, 0.82% (1) Asian, 0.00% (0) Pacific Islander, 0.00% (0) from other races, and 2.46% (3) from two or more races. Hispanics or Latinos of any race were 0.82% (1) of the population.[3]
There were 55 households, of which 20.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.3% were married couples living together, 10.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.2% were non-families. 29.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.22 and the average family size was 2.76.[3]
In the CDP, 16.4% of the population were under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 30.3% from 25 to 44, 32.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43.5 years. For every 100 females there were 76.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.1 males.[3]
