Programa Xuxa or Xuxa was a Brazilian television program hosted by Xuxa Meneghel between May 2 and October 24, 1993 at 14 pm on Sunday. With general direction of Marlene Mattos, the program was aimed at the whole family, with games, competitions, musical performances and interviews frames.
History
The program is considered by many an unofficial continuation of Xou da Xuxa program, which finished on 31 December of the previous year (1992).
It lasted only five months, and Xuxa only returned to the air on Globo TV that year in his Christmas special. At this time, she worked in three international programs -- El Show de Xuxa (Argentina), Xuxa Park (Spain) and Xuxa (U.S.) -- and this project to speak a different language from that used with children pleased to the public, and on October 24, 1993, aired the last episode of the program. The following year, Xuxa debuted the children's program Xuxa Park, success of Saturday mornings until January 2001.[1]
