Jagadguru Ramanadacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University (Hindi: जगद्गुरु रामानन्दाचार्य राजस्थान संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय) formerly known as Rajasthan Sanskrit University, is a public state university situated in Madau (Bhankrota) Jaipur. It is a Sanskrit university established by government of Rajasthan to cherish and promote Sanskrit education in India to get back its glory.

History

University was established on 1 February 2001 by Swami Shri Shri 1008 Narayan Dasji Maharaj of Triveni Dham, Jaipur. Padmashri Mandan Mishra served as the first pro vice-chancellor of the university. On 27 June 2005 university was renamed as Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University. University campus is spread in about 78.85 hectares area and located at Madau (Bhankrota), Jaipur.
