"Return of the King" is a five-issue Daredevil story arc written by Ed Brubaker with art by Michael Lark and David Aja and published by Marvel Comics. The story arc appears in Daredevil (vol. 2) #116-119 & 500 (the volume being renumbered).
Plot synopsis
After the woman he loves and her children are killed by the Hand led by Lady Bullseye, the Kingpin returns to the United States and teams up with Daredevil to take down their common foe.[1]
Reception
IGN gave the first issue of the story a 9.0 out of 10 with reviewer Jesse Schedeen saying "'Return of the King' is off to a rousing start. If this issue is any indication, we may be in for one of the finest Daredevil stories since the Frank Miller days."[2]
