River Allen, Dorset

The river close to Furzehill
River Allen is a river in the county of Dorset in South West England. It has its confluence with the River Stour in Wimborne Minster.
River Allen starts at Wyke Farm, it then follows down to Monkton-Up-Wimborne. It then tracks its way to the Watercress farm, follows down to Honeybrook Farm, then to a mill and then to the bridge that is the mouth of the river. It has lots of life in there, like the very rare white-clawed crayfish (only in 2–3 other rivers in the U.K.).
