Robin Lod (born 17 April 1993) is a Finnish football player currently playing for Panathinaikos as an attacking midfielder.
Career
Lod scored his first goal in his senior debut for HJK on 22 October 2011 in a 4−1 home win against MYPA. [1] During Season 2012 he was playing at VPS on loan from HJK Helsinki. On 9 August 2012, he went on loan until 3 September 2012. The loan was extended subsequently until end of the season 2012. [2]
After season 2014 Lod was selected as Player of the Year for the Finnish Veikkausliiga. Additionally he was selected as the best midfield player, as well as the best player of the U21 -National Team for the season. [3]
On May 6, 2015 he agreed terms with Panathinaikos, to move to the club in the summer transfer window.[4] He signed a three-year long contract on May 14, 2015 starting on July 1.[5]
Lod made his Superleague Greece debut against Skoda Xanthi F.C. on 3 October 2015.
