Odisseas Vlachodimos (Greek: Οδυσσέας Βλαχοδήμος, born 26 April 1994) is a Greek-German footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Panathinaikos. He is the younger brother of Panagiotis Vlachodimos, who plays for Panathinaikos too.

Career

Club career

Vlachodimos made his debut for VfB Stuttgart II on 25 February 2012 in the 3. Liga against 1. FC Heidenheim.[1] On 22 June 2012, he signed a contract with VfB Stuttgart until June 2015.[2] In April 2014 Vlachodimos extended his contract with VfB until June 2017.[3] He made his Bundesliga debut on 29 August 2015 against Eintracht Frankfurt.

On 26 January 2016, he moved to Panathinaikos,[4] until the summer of 2019. The financial details of the contract are remain undisclosed and VfB Stuttgart will keep a 30% sell-on clause.[5] On 3 April 2016, he made his debut with the club in a 3-2 home win against Veria for the Greek Super League.[6]

International career

Vlachodimos was Germany's first choice goalkeeper at the 2011 European U-17 Championship and the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
