Rocky Rococo is a chain of North American restaurants that specializes in pan-style pizza sold by the slice.
History
Wayne Mosley and Roger Brown opened their first store in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1974. They sold the franchise rights of the company to Tom Hester and a group of investors in 1987. The name is a reference to a Firesign Theater character.
Locations
There are more than 40 Rocky Rococo locations, most in Wisconsin, and one each in Minnesota and Washington.[2] The chain generates about $40 million in annual sales.[3] The chain previously had locations in Florida, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
