Sharad Arvind Bobde (born 24 April 1956 Nagpur) is a judge of the Supreme Court of India.[1] A former Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court. [2]

Career

He completed his graduation at SFS College Nagpur and studied Law at Nagpur University in 1978.[3] He enrolled as Advocate on 13 September 1978 and practised at the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court with appearances before the principal seat at Bombay and before the Supreme Court of India. He became Senior Advocate in 1998 and became additional Judge of Bombay High Court on 29 March 2000. He joined as Chief Justice of Madhya pradesh High Court on 16 October 2012.[4]

He is elevated to Supreme Court of India on 12 April 2013.[5]
