Sabah state election, 1999
The 1999 Sabah state election was the 9th state election in the state of Sabah, Malaysia. The election was won by Barisan Nasional increasing the number of seats it won in the 1994 election from 23 to 43. Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) only managed to win four seats in Bingkor, Tambunan, Kudat and Kalabakan.[1]
