Safayyeh (Persian: صفائیه; formerly Ferdowsīyeh)[1] is a city in and the capital of Ferdows District, in Rafsanjan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,961, in 499 families.[2] The name was changed from Ferdowsiyeh to Safayyeh when city status was bestowed upon the one-time village.
