Salmour is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 725 and an area of 12.5 square kilometres (4.8 sq mi).[1] Salmour borders the following municipalities: Bene Vagienna, Cervere, Cherasco, Fossano, and Narzole.
