Sani Resort is a family-owned luxury resort complex in Halkidiki, Greece, founded in 1971. Sani Resort is owned and managed by SANI SA which is the parent company to the five hotels in Greece.[1]

History

In 1955, the only building which stood on the site was the Kassandra Rural Prison. In the early 60s, three Greek businessmen, Anastasios Andreadis, Leonidas F. Zisiadis and Leonidas K. Zisiadis purchased Sani land in Halkidiki including its surrounding areas and the Sani Resort development was launched with the opening of the Sani Beach Club in 1971. Following the issue of a special decree, permission was granted by the local authorities to build in the area, new roads were created and the first utility services such as electricity, water and telephone lines were installed.[2]

Locations & Resorts

The locations operated by Sani SA are in Sani; a beach village in the community of Kassandreia, Halkidiki, Greece.[3]

In March 2014, Oaktree Capital Management with the support of Sani SA launched Ikos Resorts, a portfolio of luxury resorts in Greece and the Mediterranean.[4]
