"Save the Population" is a Red Hot Chili Peppers' promotional single from their 2003 Greatest Hits album.
A promo CD of the single was released in Japan and Spain, but a full retail single never was, and as such the song was not eligible for the charts. It's thought that releasing it as a full single would affect sales of Greatest Hits.
