Sharp Family Tourism and Education Center
The Sharp Family Tourism and Education Center, also known as the Usonian House, is a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida being used a visitor center[1] for campus guests. It is the college's 13th Wright designed building and was constructed according to plans the architect created in 1938. The 1,700 sq. ft. building includes textile-block construction, colored glass in perforated concrete blocks, Wright photographs, a documentary film about the architect's work at the school, and furniture designed by Wright. The building was originally designed for faculty housing.[2]
