Shaver Pond Nature Center
The Shaver Pond Nature Center is located in Grafton Lakes State Park in the Town of Grafton in Rensselaer County, New York, USA.
The nature center and the state park are northeast of Albany and are on the north side of NY-2.
The center provides outdoor recreation and environmental educational programs and is handicap accessible. It stands at the beginning of 20 miles of trails. Besides scheduled programs, the facility may be rented for club meetings.
Shaver Pond NS also houses the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation's Air and Acid Rain Deposition Monitoring Site.
