Shazand (Persian: شازند, also Romanized as Shāzand and Shah Zand; also known as Azadshahr (Persian: آزادشَهر), also Romanized as Āzādshahr)[1] is a city in and the capital of Shazand County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 19, 353, in 5, 265 families.[2]
