Star Wars: The Best of PC is a compilation of five Star Wars games that have been released for Windows over the previous five years. It was released in North America on November 21, 2006 and in Europe on November 24, 2006.[1]
Overview
The compilation includes the following games:
- Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (2002)
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003)
- Star Wars: Battlefront (2004)
- Star Wars: Republic Commando (2005)
- Star Wars: Empire at War (2006)
The compilation also originally included a 14-day free trial of the massively multiplayer online game Star Wars Galaxies, though this was removed from the updated edition produced after the Galaxies servers were shut down in December 2011. The compilation has been noted due to the diverse genres of games that have been included, such as first person shooter, role-playing video game, and real-time strategy.
