Stare Juchy [ˈstarɛ ˈjuxɨ] (German Alt Jucha) is a village in Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Stare Juchy.[1] It lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-west of Ełk and 111 km (69 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 1,800.
