Szczecinowo [ʂt͡ʂɛt͡ɕiˈnɔvɔ] (German: Sczeczinowen; 1925-1945: Steinberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stare Juchy, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Stare Juchy, 21 km (13 mi) north-west of Ełk, and 112 km (70 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
