Bałamutowo [bawamuˈtɔvɔ] (German: Ballamutowen; 1934-1945: Giersfelde) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stare Juchy, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Stare Juchy, 12 km (7 mi) north-west of Ełk, and 116 km (72 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 64.
