Description

A stench kow is one of the cattle of the Nine Hells. Stench kine roam the reeking plains, fiery fields, and even the wintry wastes of the lower hells. Some are found as far as Acheron, Gehenna, and Hades. These odorous beasts form great herds, grazing on the noxious and poisonous growths of the vile terrain. Bulls make up about 1/5 of the population. In close quarters, the odor of a stench kow's breath is so foul that individuals may gag and choke on it. A stench kow resembles a huge, misshapen bison, with long and downward curving horns, a huge head with pugged features, large round eyes, and a lolling tongue. Bulls have large humps over the shoulders, and cows have smaller ones. A stench kow's coloration is dull orange with a greenish, matted mane.

Other publishers

The stench kow appeared in the Tome of Horrors (2002) from Necromancer Games.[4]
