The Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) is a business school situated in the Range hills in Khadki, near Pune, Maharashtra, India.

It is an accredited center for Corporate Governance.[1]

History

The Institute was established in 1993, under a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Defence and the Symbiosis Group (now Symbiosis International University) primarily to enable defence personnel and their dependants to pursue management education. On the MBA programme 90% of places are reserved for dependants of defence personnel. Other programmes are open to all.

SIMS Library

The campus is spread over an area of 4 acres (16,000 m2) and is fully residential. The Academic Block houses all 16 classrooms, the library, a 450-seat auditorium, administrative offices, seminar rooms and an IT laboratory.
