Týn nad Bečvou is a village and municipality (obec) in Přerov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.[1]
The municipality covers an area of 11.99 square kilometres (4.63 sq mi), and has a population of 892 (as at 3 July 2006).
Týn nad Bečvou lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Přerov, 29 km (18 mi) east of Olomouc, and 239 km (149 mi) east of Prague.
