Plot summary

This story revolves around a girl named Thapki (Jigyasa Singh), who has a stammering problem. Despite this, she still maintains a cheerful personality and a loyal character. In the beginning of the show, Thapki's parents are shown to be very keen on getting her married, but due to her speech impediment, no one is willing to. After some time though, her parents manage to get her alliance fixed with Diwakar, who is shorter than Thapki. Initially, Diwakar has no idea about Thapki's stuttering. When he comes to know about it, he gets upset and demands dowry. Eventually, Diwakar gets annoyed by her stammering problem and good behavior (and also feels that Thapki is making fun of him for being short), and refuses to marry her. After being rejected for the marriage, Thapki moves to Noida with her mother after accepting a job in a news channel owned by Dhruv Pandey (Ankit Bathla); her father and two siblings join them later. Thapki and Dhruv eventually fall in love with each other. Dhruv's mother, who despises anything that doesn't work or run properly, fixes Dhruv's alliance with Thapki without knowing about her stammering problem. But after Vasundra comes to know about Thapki's stammering, she desperately begins to try to separate Dhruv and Thapki. Vasundra comes up with a plan to emotionally blackmail her adopted son, Bihaan (Manish Goplani) into marrying Thapki after drugging Dhruv on the day of their marriage. Bihaan attends the marriage wearing a sera, fooling everyone into thinking that he is Dhruv. After the ceremony is over, Thapki is shocked to see Bihaan under the headdress. Thapki, after realizing what had happened, starts despising Bihaan for separating her from her love and spoiling her life.Thapki and Bihaan are forced to live together until they get a divorce. Vasundara then plans to make Dhruv marry Shraddha, a girl of her choice, and convinces Thapki to make Dhruv believe that she loves Bihaan and encourages him to move on. Meanwhile, Bihaan unknowingly starts to fall for Thapki; he cares for her, saves her life, and always tries to help and motivate her when she loses hope. Later, Bihaan and Thapki find out that Shraddha isn't as sweet as she pretends to be. While they team up to expose Shraddha, she still ends up getting married to Dhruv. However, Dhruv still has feelings for Thapki, which upsets Shraddha. Vasundra and Shraddha, who both hate Thapki, work together to besmirch Thapki's reputation, and turn the family against her. However, Bihaan still supports Thapki, and acts like a supporting pillar in Thapki's life. After a huge argument, Vasundra and Shraddha finally have Thapki leave the mansion. So Bihan's feelings aren't hurt, Thapki becomes the maid for earnings and payment. The fact that thapki is the maid is unknown to Bihaan .Everyday thapki sends him out anyhow so that he does not comes to know about her becoming the maid.On Valentine's day Shraddha throws a party for Dhruv in which Thahaan are also invited but Vasu and Shraddha ask thapki to be the teddy bear and entertain the guests while thapki entertains the guests Shraddha tries to become close to Dhruv bymaking him eat liqour chocolate but Vasu eats it instead and almost discloses everything...but Shraddha arrives on time .
