Thomas & Friends is a children's television series about the engines and other characters on the railways of the Island of Sodor, and is based on The Railway Series books written by the Rev. W. Awdry.
This article lists and details the episodes from series 19 of the show, which began airing on 21 September 2015 in the UK, and on 13 October 2015 in the USA. The series will be narrated by Mark Moraghan, for the UK and US audiences, respectively.
A new DVD "Whale of a Tale and Other Sodor Adventures" (containing five episodes) was released exclusively to Walmart and iTunes in the US on 9 June 2015.[1] A second DVD called "Wild Water Rescue and Other Engine Adventures" (containing one episode from Series 19) was released (a week later) on 16 June 2015, exclusively to Target.[2]
A third DVD called "Thomas' Christmas Carol" (containing four episodes from Series 19) was released on 27 October 2015,[3][4] while a fourth DVD "Tales on the Rails" (containing a further three episodes from Series 19) was released (a month later) on 24 November 2015. A fifth DVD titled, "Start Your Engines!" was released on 1 March 2016 in the USA and 2 March 2016 in the UK.

Voices
John Hasler and Joseph May officially take-over the voice of the title-character, (with Hasler also taking over as Rheneas in both the UK and the US). Rob Rackstraw officially takes over the roles of James in the US (from Kerry Shale) and Toby in the UK as well as taking over the voices of Stanley in the US and Flynn in both the UK and US. Christopher Ragland takes over the role of Percy in the US and officially, the Troublesome Trucks in the UK and the US.
Nigel Pilkington, Rasmus Hardiker, Oliver McCue and Ashna Kapar join the voice cast.
Keith Wickham officially takes over the role of Sir Topham Hatt in the US (from Shale), while Kerry Shale takes over the role of Diesel in the US. Ben Small's remaining roles of Charlie in the US and Owen in both the UK and US are yet to be confirmed.
