Trescore Balneario is a town and comune in the Province of Bergamo, Lombardy, northern Italy.

History

The city itself is mentioned for the first time in 996 AD.

However, the area had been known since ancient Roman times for its hot springs, which were enhanced by Bartolomeo Colleoni and are still active. The word Balneario in the name means "of the baths" in Italian, identifying Trescore Balneario as a spa town.
