Ulëz is a town and a former municipality in the Dibër County, northern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Mat.^[1] The population at the 2011 census was 1,229.^[2] It was once part of the Oher Municipality, which was later divided between Mat and Mirditë. The region contains the recently proclaimed Ulza Regional Nature Park.

The artificial Ulza Lake (Liqeni i Ulzës) in the Albanian Mat valley.
