Vanya Mishra (February 27, 1992) in an Indian actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Femina Miss India World in 2012.

Early life

Vanya Mishra (born 27 February 1992) in Chandigarh[1] was crowned the winner of Femina Miss India on March 30, 2012. She has completed her graduate programme in electrical engineering from PEC University of Technology in 2014. She was a member of Projection Design Club (PDC) in the college. She had to compete with the 19 other models for the top honour, the Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2012 Title.[2]

Miss World 2012 Pageant

Vanya represented India at the Miss World 2012 pageant in Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China on 18 August 2012. She won the Miss Multimedia and Beauty with a Purpose award.[3] and was able to make it to the top 7. In 'Dances of the World', Vanya performed a mujra to the song Dil Cheez Kya Hai.

Career

Vanya has been approached by several film makers from Tollywood and Bollywood but she has maintained a stance of selecting right scripts only. She has recently signed a Telugu film titled Sher opposite actor Kalyan Ram, which is directed by Mallikarjun.[4]
