Fictional character biography
Dr. Victor Mordenheim, man of science, wished to revive his dead wife and funnel her essence into a new living receptacle. In order to further those goals, he has turned to the grisly work of crafting flesh golemns. Living in a castle in the Domain of Lamordia, Dr. Mordenheim employs a hunchback who helps him to gather people for his grisly experiments.[2]
The Dark Lords have cursed Dr. Mordenheim that his experiments will never truly bring back his wife. Though he transfers her soul into new receptacles, the new body always withers away back into her sickened condition. Furthermore, he is cursed to always be at odds with his first creation, Adam, who is the only truly sentient flesh golemn in Ravenloft.[2]
