Żytkiejmy [ʐɨtˈkʲɛi̯mɨ] (German: Szittkehmen until 1936, 1936-38 Schittkehmen, 1938-46 Wehrkirchen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dubeninki, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Dubeninki, 25 km (16 mi) east of Gołdap, and 156 km (97 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia), and Stalin gave it to Poland in 1951.
The village has a population of 907.
