The 1905 Notre Dame football team was an American football team that represented the University of Notre Dame in the 1905 college football season. In its first season with Henry J. McGlew as coach, the team compiled a 5–4 record and outscored its opponents by a combined total of 312 to 80. The team defeated Michigan Agricultural (28–0), American Medical (142–0), and DePauw (71–0), but lost to Wisconsin (0–21), Indiana (5–22), and Purdue (0–32).[1]
