The 1992-93 season was Aldershot Town's first season of existence since they were formed after the liquidation of the previous club Aldershot F.C.. The club competed in the Isthmian League third division. The club would end up finishing the season as champions winning 28 league games, drawing eight times, and losing just twice.[1]

Aldershot Town played their first ever competitive game and secured their first ever victory in a home game against Clapton on 22 August 1992. It was against the same opposition that would see Aldershot Town lose their first ever league game when Clapton beat the Shots on 2 January 1993. January would be the only month in which Aldershot Town failed to win a league game, suffering two defeats - the only league defeats they had all season, and two draws.
