Aldershot Town has the weight of history behind them at home; winning four, drawing four and losing just twice against the Cards. They’ve won four of the seven league games at their home, including a famous 4-0 win in front of the Sky Sports cameras in March 2005. The first game in North-East Hampshire ended in a 0-0 draw, which was an FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round.

The first game between the two sides at the Kingfield Stadium was the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round replay which Woking won 2-1.[1]

Notable matches

Aldershot Town moved up to 2nd in the Conference table after a 4-0 victory over Woking in front of the Sky Sports cameras. Dwain Clarke gave the Shots the lead in the 17th minute. Tim Sills doubled the lead 10 minutes later. Darren Barnard then made it 3-0 before half-time with an unstoppable shot into the top corner. Woking's day was made worse with a second yellow card for Jon Boardman in the 75th minute, before Jon Challinor sealed the win two minutes from time. [2]

Aldershot Town all but secured their Conference Premier survival with a hard-fought victory against Woking. The Shots took the lead on 65 minutes when Brett Williams scored a penalty. Woking equalized from Brett Johnson's close-range shot, but Aldershot secured victory, a league double over Woking, and more importantly their place in the Football Conference thanks to Mark Molelsey's deflected strike on 83 minutes.[3]
