The 2015–16 season is Aldershot Town's 24th season of existence and their third consecutive season in the National League.[1] Along with competing in the National League, the club will also participate in the FA Cup and FA Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.

Elliott Baxter and Co Ltd, the UK’s leading independent paper suppliers, on Tuesday 28 July 2015, signed a five-year contract for the naming rights of the Recreation Ground. It would mark the second time EBB has owned the naming rights, having previously sponsored the stadium from 2008–2013.[2]

Pre-season friendlies

On 12 May 2015, it was announced that Aldershot Town would travel to Hampton & Richmond Borough on 18 July 2015.[28] On 11 June 2015, the Shots confirmed their first home pre-season friendly against Chelsea U21's.[29] On 23 June 2015, Aldershot Town announced that Wycombe Wanderers would be their last pre-season opposition before the season begins.[30]

Matches

On 3 July 2015, the fixtures for the forthcoming National League season was announced. Aldershot Town started at home against Gateshead.[31]

Prior to the start of the season it was announced that Aldershot Town’s home National League fixture against Forest Green Rovers had been moved 24 hours to Wednesday 7 October 2015, for live broadcast on BT Sport.[32]

Hampshire Senior Cup

On the Hampshire FA website the second round details were announced, Aldershot Town will face Tadley Calleva.[33]
