The 2015–16 season is Cheltenham Town's 129th season of existence and their first back in the Conference following relegation the previous season.[1] Along with competing in the National League, the club will also participate in the FA Cup and FA Trophy along with their regional Gloucestershire Senior Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.

Friendlies

On 15 May 2015, Cheltenham Town announced four pre-season friendly matches against Cirencester Town, Evesham United, Weston-super-Mare and AFC Wimbledon.[54] On 2 June 2015, the club announced a fifth pre-season friendly against Bristol Rovers.[55] A day later they added Cardiff City to the schedule.[56] A friendly against Sheffield United was confirmed on 9 June 2015.[57] On 24 July 2015, Cheltenham Town announced an additional pre-season friendly against Bishop's Cleeve.[58]
