The 2015–16 season is Wrexham's 152nd season of existence and their eighth consecutive season in the Conference.[1] Along with competing in the National League, the club will also participate in the FA Cup and FA Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.

Kit

For the 2015/16 season, Adidas returned as the club's kit supplier, the kit was chosen through a vote by the members of the club, a traditional Red and White strip was chosen for the home kit while a yellow kit with blue trim was chosen as the club's away kit.

Competitions

Pre-season friendlies

On 15 May 2015, Wrexham announced they will face Stoke City for a pre-season friendly on 22 July 2015.[38] On 20 May 2015, Wrexham announced their second pre-season friendly against FC United of Manchester.[39] On 3 June 2015, Wrexham announced a further three more friendlies.[40] Additional friendly matches were confirmed by the club on 13 June 2015.[41] It was announced on 23 June 2015, that Everton U21's vill visit on 11 July 2015.[42] On 2 July 2015, Wrexham added a trip to Bangor City to the pre-season diary.[43]

Matches

On 3 July 2015, the fixtures for the forthcoming National League season was announced. Wrexham started the 2015/16 campaign away, against Bromley.[44]

FA Cup

Main article: 2015–16 FA Cup

Wrexham enter the FA Cup at the 4th Qualifying round, the last round before the first round 'proper'. The draw was made on October 12th where they were drawn to play Gainsborough Trinity at home on October 24th.[45] The teams last met competitively in the semi-final of the FA Trophy in 2013.

The draw for the 1st Round took place on November 30th, Wrexham were drawn to play fellow National League side and local rivals Tranmere Rovers.[46]
