The 2015–16 season is Eastleigh's 70th year of existence and their second consecutive season in the Conference.[2] Along with competing in the National League, the club will also participate in the FA Cup and FA Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.

On 19 May 2015, Eastleigh announced their first four pre-season friendlies.[18] On 9 June 2015, a further two were confirmed.[19] On 18 June 2015, Partick Thistle was added to the schedule.[20]

Eastleigh began their 2015-16 FA Cup in the Fourth Qualifying Round drawn against Bromley.

On the Hampshire FA website the second round details were announced, Eastleigh will face Cove.[22]
