The 2015–16 season is Braintree Town's 118th season of existence and their fifth consecutive season in the Conference.[1] Along with competing in the National League, the club will also participate in the FA Cup and FA Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.

Pre-season friendlies

On 3 May 2015, Braintree Town announced their first friendly, They visited Long Melford on 11 July 2015.[12] On 13 May 2015, Braintree Town announced their second friendly, against Lowestoft Town.[13] On 17 May 2015, a further three more friendlies was confirmed against Reading, Dagenham & Redbridge and Ebbsfleet United.[14] On 18 May 2015, Braintree Town announced a sixth pre-season friendly against Bury Town.[15] On 22 May 2015, Braintree Town announced a further three more pre-season friendlies.[16] On 30 May 2015, Braintree Town confirmed they would face Leyton Orient on 10 July 2015.[17] On 11 June 2015, Braintree Town re-announced their pre-season fixture against Southend United.[18]
